An excellent idea that Maxis themselves should have incorporated into basic gameplay IMHO. Excellent stuff. Well done, especially handy for those of us running extended (and evergrowing) sim-families!

What is the "Ask Plumbbob" mode supposed to do exactly, other than preventing fun interactions to go ahead if a Sim has full fun?

"Ask Plumbbob" turns off the free will and allows the plumbbob itself to issue commands to the sim. The plumbbob is mostly programmed to tell them to do things in a very general way, but for when they are low on energy it can get very specific. Mostly, it just tells them to go sit down somewhere. :D

It's the colored diamond above your sim's head. It changes based on their mood.

Sorry if im slow but im not quite sure what allows them to "have their cake and eat it too" with only one thing- free will.
